One suggestion is that you believe in the inherent worth and dignity of each 
individual person. It is becoming a more useful notion to just accept people 
for who they are. It is becoming a less useful idea to be concerned with 
whether a person has a mixed race heritage, and to worry oneself over what 
color to call such a person. The US Census Bureau lets people check as many 
race choice boxes as are considered to apply. Why should other individuals be 
disrespectful of those choices?
