[Vision2020] Palin Candidacy Helps Planned ParenthoodFundraising

Mr. London,
Should I conclude from your sentence " A first trimester fetus is not a child." that a baby in the second trimester is? Planned Parenthood routinely performs abortions in the sixth month of pregnancy making the phrase you took such exception to completely correct even by your own standards. Not "inaccurate." Not "vicious slander." Please see:
http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn11222-worlds-most-premature-baby-set-to-leave-hospital.html
Don't even begin to try and tell me a fetus at 6 months isn't a child.
Unfortunately, my use of the admittedly inflammatory phrase "killing of children" has caused my critics to overlook the point. For this I am at fault and I'll try again. To take Ms. Palin's deeply held moral position in favor of life and step all over it by making donations to an organization that regularly ends it in her name is hardly ethical or laudatory behavior. Would it be funny or productive to sign James Brady up for NRA memberships? If you feel you must support abortion by contributing to Planned Parenthood, that's one thing. (an unfortunate thing, in my opinion) Spitting in a woman's face for an honestly held moral position is another. As was said previously, tasteless, tawdry, and lacking in ethics.
A question for you, if I may? Reasonable people can and do disagree on when life begins. In what way was my "ranting" "irrational?" Do you truly think that people who believe that life begins at conception are out of their minds or was the remark simply "venomous."

G. Crabtree:
I have enjoyed your straightforward conservative commentary on V2020. You have provided a realistic and honest counterpoint.
However, I have noticed recently that you have also adopted many of the venomous and irrational rantings too common with the right.
A great example is your use of the phrase "killing of children" in a description of Planned Parenthood. Even you must realize that is not only inaccurate but vicious slander.
Planned Parenthood does offer abortion as an option in pregnancy counseling, but really they focus on family planning and testing for sexually transmitted diseases (as in prevention). A first trimester fetus is not a child. And a woman's decision in the face or rape, incest, or just poverty, should not be your concern. A true conservative would not want to give the government that kind of power.

I don't know what Jeff's thoughts on this might be but, objectively, if sending money to support the killing of children to express your displeasure with a vice presidential candidate isn't unethical you probably never had much to begin with.

"Tasteless" and "tawdry" are your opinions and are thus subjective. Tell me -- objectively -- why this is unethical.
