Accident closes Jackson at Third Street

An accident closed Jackson Street at Third for most of the morning after 
an eastbound car hit a southbound semi truck around 2:30 this morning. 
Both drivers were transported to Gritman Medical Center with what appeared 
to be minor injuries.

Initial reports indicate the car ran the flashing red lights on Third 
Street as the semi was in the intersection, which sent the semi into the 
two-story building on the southeast corner of Third and Jackson causing 
what appeared to be minor damage.
