[Vision2020] We already knew that there was no heart in Wal-Mart

I think Wal-Mart should donate money to help pay for her medical costs and injuries. Their insistence on being legally right instead and morally wrong will cost them dearly.
But, let us keep in mind, Wal-Mart didn't run her over with a truck, and the trucking company should have to pay for her expenses. The money that is collected by Wal-Mart will be used to help other people that need medical care.
Of course the big question for me here is, why isn't $400,000 enough to care for this woman?
Why does she need $800,000? That is a lot of money, more than most people will make in their lifetime.
Best Regards,
Donovan

Debbie Shank was a Wal-Mart employee when she was left "brain damaged, disabled and penniless" from a car accident seven years ago. But after the Shank family received a settlement from the trucking company at fault, Wal-Mart demanded reimbursement for every cent it had paid for Debbieâs medical bills â plus interest and legal fees. Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear Debbie Shankâs case, leaving her family no choice but to pay Wal-Mart $470,000.
Now her family doesnât know how theyâre going to be able to afford Debbieâs nursing home bills. Wal-Martâs lawyers may be following the law, but they certainly arenât following their hearts. Take a moment to let the Shank family know you are supporting them, then tell Wal-Mart to make the moral choice and help Debbie Shank.
