City of Moscow Hosts Paradise Path Improvement Project Open House
Moscow, Idaho - March 11, 2008 - The City of Moscow Engineering
Department will host an "open house" public information meeting on a
federally funded project to improve the Paradise Path from US-95 and
Sweet Avenue to Blaine Street. The open house will be held on
Wednesday, March 19, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers on
the 2nd floor of Moscow City Hall, 206 East Third Street. Citizens are
invited to drop by at their convenience.
The project is currently being designed by Riedesel Engineering of
Lewiston, and includes construction of a paved 10 foot multi-use pathway
from U.S. 95 at Sweet Avenue east to Berman Creekside Park. The project
will also construct bicycle/pedestrian access improvements at the Styner
Avenue and Blaine Street crossings, solar powered pedestrian lighting,
and minor landscaping.
