For those that may be interested I have several bills to be introduced this year.
In the senate
RS17529 Require that a change of meeting place be posted on the outside of the building where the meeting was to be held originally
RS17530 Requires that a volunteer will not be rejected on the bases of a personal conflict. The only restrictions will be on merit and number required.
RS17531 require that all public meeting be recorded and maintained as a public record for 3 years
RS17532 This pertains to the Open Meeting Law and defined the term "government body" and also increases the maximum fine for violations
RS17533 This bill provide that initial enforcement of the Public Records Law be with the Attorney Generals office and to increase the penalties for violations
Supervision of convicted or Accused
This bill provides that a convicted or accuse sex offender shall not be given a temporary release for personal affairs on hs own recognizance
Whistleblower protection
This would provide an avenue for a whiltleblower who is being persecuted to file a grievance with out having to go to court
In the house Tom Trail will introduce a bill making The Threebear soil the official Idaho state soil
I presented al of these At the Idaho State Grange Convention along with the confidentiality for domestic violence victims that will be introduced by Tom and Sherily.
I also presented a resolution in favor of Tom's Hemp bill. All of thes were approved by the State Grange except for the one on confidentiality which that thought was a local issue only.
