The only song I know from Focus is "Hocus Pocus", and I'm not sure, but
that might have been covered by Krokus.

But maybe not.

Rhyming is fun!

I recall hearing about the band Focus. But, JEESH, that's been a week
or
two (or so). One of the few Dutch progressive rock groups to get
anywhere.

I went to Wikipedia to refresh my memory of "Focus", and sure enough . .
.

They may not have been household names . . .

Thijs van Leer - keyboards, flute, vocals

Jan Akkerman - guitar

Bert Ruiter - bass guitar

Pierre van der Linden - drums

But I do recall one instrumental (mentioned on Wikipedia), "Happy
Nightmare", which had an almost hypnotic rhythm to it. DAMN! I haven't

heard from this group in over 30 years.

Wikipedia, coupled with a couple songs I found on Rhapsody, reports that

Focus renamed themselves "Focus 8" in 2002 and recorded a new album,
which
I imagine must have been difficult for them to accomplish in walkers. I

mean these guys must be at least in their late sixties/early seventies
by
now.

Any way . . .

Thanks, Chas.

I know that this will be a bit difficult, but I am going to do my best
to
find a copy of "Happy Nightmare" by the original Focus.

Damn you, Chas! (jus kiddin')
