Subject: Air Quality Advisory, September 10, 2007

 

The Department of Environmental Quality is issuing an Air Quality
Advisory for September 10, 2007.  Smoke from regional wildfires are
impacting Southern Clearwater County and the majority of Idaho County,
including the areas around Grangeville, Cottonwood, Elk City, & Riggins,
Pierce and Weippe.

 

No open burning is allowed in Clearwater or Idaho County until the Stage
1 Forecast and Caution is lifted.  We will reevaluate Air Quality
conditions Tuesday morning by 9:00am.
