I wonder why they didn't take him to Walter Reed where other vice presidents and presidents have gone in the past.



Vice president taken to hospital after discomfort in leg with blood clot
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Vice President Dick Cheney was taken to George Washington University Medical Center on Tuesday after suffering from discomfort in the same leg where a blood clot was found earlier this month, officials from his office said.

Cheney spokeswoman Megan McGinn first told reporters that the vice president was merely meeting with his doctor at the medical center for a routine follow-up visit regarding the blood clot that was found in his lower left leg March 5.

But she later said that Cheney did have some discomfort earlier this morning and, after consulting with his physicians, he went to the medical facility for another ultrasound on the clot.
