[Vision2020] Daily News co-opts V2020

I had to smile.
The Daily News website is now interactive.  Readers can directly comment on the posted editorial content on that website.  For example, see http://www.dnews.com/story/opinion/16190/ which is the recent Town Crier editorial written by Mark Solomon (about the Hawkins development and their water sucking ways).  
Four reader comments are accessible from that web page.  The comments were posted directly onto the website by those readers, with no monitoring.  There is just a legal notice that any libel, etc in the reader comments is the responsibility of the author NOT the Daily News.
The Daily News is using the same view of the Internet as Vision 2020.  Like the V2020, the Daily News is just setting up a virtual soapbox in Hyde Park, offering a chance for unedited, uncontrolled dialogue.
I think that is great.
