Dear Ms. Tanaka,
Perhaps yesterdays inquiry cut a little too close to
the ol schwaller for comfort, so how bout if we
slice it from another angle?
Yesterday you blessed us with an explanation for the
reason that you hate others, stating,
. . . you assume hating someone must include an
element of maliciousness or malevolence, but that is
not the case at all when I hate someone. If I hate
someone precisely because of his opposition to Gods
justice, truth and righteousness, my hatred will not
be characterized by maliciousness or malevolence, but
rather by an overriding concern for Gods justice,
truth, and righteousness. In fact, my primary motive
in hating someone has less to do with that person per
se, than on defending my Lord and Savior from His
enemies.
According to Strongs, the Greek word miseo, which
the Authorized translates hate, means to detest
(especially to persecute); by extension, to love
less.
Please notice the words ESPECIALLY TO PERSECUTE and
notice how Merriam-Webster defines the word
persecute:
1: to harass or punish in a manner designed to
injure, grieve, or afflict; specifically: to cause to
suffer because of belief
2: to annoy with persistent or urgent approaches (as
attacks, pleas, or importunities): PESTER.

Now, I want to understand the hatred that you show to
those you deem worthy of this detestable blessing.
More specifically, I want to know how you avoid
showing maliciousness or malevolence when you
practice hatred in your religion, because it sure
looks as though you endeavor to harass or punish in a
manner designed to injure, grieve, or afflict;
specifically: to cause to suffer because of belief,
which certainly encompasses the meaning of the words
maliciousness and malevolence.
Thank you very much,
Dougs Hero
