[Vision2020] "Murder" rate in Moscow

Also, one of those 7 was really a suicide (Jason
Hamilton). So there were actually 6 homicides:  David
Boss, Crystal Hamilton, Lee Newbill, Paul Bauer,
Jeremiah Johnson and Tyler Lee.  

Way back when i was taking criminal justice /sociology
classes, we discussed a theory about the rate of
violent crimes, esp. homicides increasing during times
of war despite the fact that many of the population
more likely to commit violent crimes (young men age
18-30ish I think) were out of country.  I think it was
Emile Durkheim and had something to do with strong
national sentiments and war providing a tacit approval
towards violence/homicides. But i cant remember
clearly, just remember it was a fascinating theory!
