It was very kind, very Christlike, for the Courtney family to take in the
Farris' when they were in a bind, and I wouldn't have thought there was
"mooching" going on, nor that someone was making a profit off of someone
else's distress.

Sometimes things are exactly as they look, and I don't have to like Dale
Courtney to recognize that his family practiced true kindness in this
situation.

I wish that weren't so contentious an idea . . .

Dear Ms. Woolf,

Please refrain from showing your extreme ignorance, as easily as you
do. It sure doesn't take much to get your hackles up, now does it?

Just sooz you knowz: I rent.

But now that you mentioned it... I wish to take this moment away from
the mundane comments here on Blind 2020 to say a word of thanks for the
Dale Courtney Family.

"A year and a half ago I was fretting about where to move my rather
large reformed family. Our lease was up and the owner was moving back
to Moscow to settle down. One day at the local pool I was commiserating
about our situation when Dale up and offered to house and feed our
rather large clan (all 10 of us including a newborn baby boy) for the 2
1/2 weeks while our new residence was being prepared. (Now before you
all get your knickers in a knot, Dale didn't receive one thin dime for
our room and board. He did it out of the kindness of his enormous heart
and generous pocket book) We had a great vacation along with the
Courtney's watching Stargate SG1 and other fun stuff. The food great
and the hospitality magnanimous. We are forever in their debt. It truly
was as Christ-like as it gets! Our only regret is that it couldn't be
for longer."

As to your inane comment about our house not being able to be built…
"what's ya talk'n 'bout, Willis?"

Now just so I can get a clarification about your out of place Logos
comment. "what's ya talk'n 'bout, Willis?"

Your's truly, Doug!

J }:{ had this to say:

First of all, Doug F, you'd actually have to BE paying taxes to really
have
much say in anyway about paying taxes. Since you can't even get your
house
built (BTW, what church member are you mooching off of now? The
Courtney's
certainly wouldn't consider taking you and your brood back in, would
they?
Is that why you are defending him so actively?)

Secondly, since the Logos budget is SO high and their scores continue
to
spiral downward, seems to me the waste of money is occurring in your
neck of
the woods.
