There are three things the US has done from the beginning that makes us as
rich as we are today.
First we are a Christian/religious nation this gives us a moral
underpinning.
Second we are nation that has the rule of law we expect honesty from our
shopkeepers and we do something about it when it doesn't happen.
Only third is capitalism our form of business...how we do our money.
But, capitalism without the other two is pure greed and right now China is
trying to do business without the first two.
It won't work long term.

why yes I do think we can learn from China and any county. However, what way
do you think China can go? In my eyes the only way is up. They have tried
for years to do so and finally they are on their way.

I do believe the opinion piece was about war though Art. In that case what
do we have to learn from them, as in recent war achievments? Attricion
warfare? The Chinese have not been successful in the last century.  That is
all I was getting at.
