Moscow poses as a "liberal" town, whatever that means, but really it ain't
so...Arcata California, where Humboldt State University resides, is a
"liberal" town, to make a comparison with another small college town.
 Moscow does not even compare in terms of being "liberal."  The liberals in
Moscow are always on the defensive, trying to apologize and accommodate
themselves, as if they must insist that being liberal is really not that
bad, as long as they behave themselves... Witness the declarations that
Vision2020 is a "leftist" site, from some subscribers.  If Vision2020 is
"leftist," Karl Marx is turning over in this grave!
