[Vision2020] religion should have no part in it

It's always better, of course, to be exposed to a variety of viewpoints as well as to arguments against the things we hold closest. I would hate to have so little confidence in or passion for the things I believe that mere exposure to opposing viewpoints would cause me to waver and wobble.

For example, no matter what the estimable Bruce Livingston says, I still contend that Sylvester Stone of Sly and the Family Stone is completely overrated as a singer, musician, and songwriter. Unlike Elvis Costello, who is unequivocally a genius, as I'm sure Bruce would agree.

See? I'm a reasonable woman, and no amount of exposure to "It's A Family Affair" is likely to change that . . .

:)

> I I misunderstood what you said, I'm sorry. I agree that it is good to consider or be exposed to many different concepts. However as adults those that were homes schooled or attended private schools are not the only ones who could stand to broaden there horizons. I would erge those on the left to subscribe to "National Review". Incidently I subscribe to or donate enough different publications or organizations that I wind up on about every conceivable mailing list imaginable.
