[Vision2020] Same sex couples

Visionaries:

I'm interested in learning more about Dick Sherwin's claim:
"Right now, for example, there is a Senate Bill up for vote in California
that will make it illegal to even mention the words "mom" or "dad" or
"mother" or "father" in a school text book because the gay lobby in that
state considers such terms to be sexist. "

Can anyone provide more information?  I'd not heard or read anything about
this, and a quick check with friends & family in CA reveals they've not
heard anything about it, either.  I've further been unsuccessful at finding
any pending CA Senate bill that would accomplish what Mr. Sherwin claims.

I did find SB 1437 re:  prohibition of discriminatory content in school
instruction, but that's a far, far different thing than what Mr. Sherwin
claims.

(As an aside, I see that some real whack jobs introduced a bill that would
allow pharmacists to refuse -- with impunity -- to dispense legally
prescribed drugs on the basis of "ethical, moral, or religious grounds."
Thankfully, it looks like that piece of legislation is going down.)

So, can anyone provide more information about Mr. Sherwin's (outrageous)
claim or is this simply yet another attempt at misinformation?

As usual you spew about nothing. Why don't you grow some masculinity and
just answer a question? What is it you have against gays? What harm do they
cause you.

 

You might have heard about this little Bible theme.... Judge not so you not
be judged. Once you gay-bashers opened the gates of hate with your
persecution (including killings) you opened yourselves up to whatever comes
your way. You don't need to pretend that you gay-bashers are being attacked
by anyone, you are only suffering counter moves from an enemy you created.
