[Vision2020] Something More Interesting?

Visionaries,

I don't know if this qualifies as more interesting, but attached is a PDF
file regarding drug seizures and arrests for the years 1999-2005.
Understand that in how arrests are "counted" in our reporting system, we
list only primary offenses.  What this means in reading this report is that
the actual numbers of arrests are innately skewed.  For example, if a person
was arrested in a given year for Murder but was also charged with
manufacturing methamphetamine, the drug charge does not show up as an
arrest--just the murder charge.  It doesn't make a lot of sense to me to
report things in that way, but it is how the Uniform Crime Reporting works.
Additionally, stating calls for service by nature of call (drugs, child
abuse, animal problems, etc.) was not done (specifically, at any rate) for
all of the years in this grouping (I can't, for example, simply run a report
asking to see all drug calls received during 1999, whereas I can do so for
2005).  I am not sure if this is exactly what Jford was interested in
seeing--or if it fulfills anyone's curiosity about these calls, but here it
is.  Let me know if you have any comments or questions.
