Saundra nailed it a couple of days ago when she asked, in response to Doug's
naming four possible suspects in the alleged vandalism of his property,
where his execution of the Biblical standard was. Granted, the "two or
three witnesses" is, strictly speaking, to be employed when an accusation is
leveled against an elder, but it's a wise principle when engaging with
everyone else, too. For one, it's simply reasonable; two, it prevents the
bearing of false witness, which a lot of churches take seriously.
However, no matter how Doug tries to wrestle with Matthew 18, he sinned
against Ford, Metzler, Morin and Nolan by naming them as suspects, and he
owes God repentance and them apologies.
And a note to the good pastor -- no fair "rejoicing because (you) were
counted worthy of suffering for the Name of Jesus . . . " None of us is
rejoicing because you have caused the Name to suffer, and you aren't being
targeted, if you are at all, because of any courageous righteousness on your
church's part. I deplore acts of vandalism and harrassment, but I assume no
pastors are committing them. I also deplore acts of vindictiveness and
haughtiness, and it saddens me to see that you've committed those here.

I hate responding to this, but -
The fact that Dougie did not report this until AFTER the fact, TWO WEEKS
after they supposedly happened, and that he brought NO evidence, NO proof
that any of this ever even happened (this has been explained before) and the
fact that he wrote about it on his blog on 27 July as having reported it to
the police (when in fact he did NOT) and the very huge fact that NONE of
those people have the time, inclination or will to do any of this crap -
THAT is how I know it never happened.
If someone is doing this type of damage, (and that is a HUGE, HUGE IF!!!)
you'd think Dougie would at LEAST submit the tires and condom for
examination. You'd think he'd have the cops COME OUT TO HIS HOUSE TO SEE
things as they were found. But he doesn't because IT NEVER HAPPENED and he
has NOTHING to show.
Questions: How does Dougie know it was a "fowl smelling substance" that was
smeared on his living room window? Did he smell it? What do "fowl
substances" smell like, anyway?
What makes you believe Dougie "has all this video recorded"? And IF he did,
why is it he has not turned THAT over to the cops? And WHY in God's name
would all four of those people make an allegiance and "attack" Dougie's
home? That is just such a stupid supposition and both you and Dougie know
it. None of those named would even think of doing this kind of juvenile,
petty, and stupid act(s).
And what is THIS about: "Also, anyone on his property at the time of the

on their cell phone and send it to an email account for just 25 cents."?
What has that got to do with anything?
Filing a false police report is illegal - but then, Dougie is very used to
doing things irregardless to the law. I just get sick of this town allowing
him to get away with it.
