  I'm surprised by the salary of Nick Holt ($140,420.80), the head  football coach at UI, especially when comparing it to the much lower  salaries of many of the professors. From a supply and demand point of  view, I wonder if the services he offers are really that extraordinary,  and if there really is such a demand for a football program at UI.
