Whoa; semantics, metaphors, and accusations run deep in Melyinda's reply. No pseudonyms and, actually, not bad looking, so I've been told. ...I like it!

Maybe it's the English professor in me, but I have to ask, what makes
"undocumented immigrants" a catchphrase, but not "illegal aliens"? Is it
simply that one embodies a rhetorical position you agree with, and the
other doesn't?
About gay people . . . I don't think anyone's trying to fool you, Ed.
Sometimes a word can have more than one meaning. You can be gay, and so
can I, without any inconsistency at all. Either one of us could even be
both--well, at least I could.
As rational intellects, I think it's best for us to post under our own
names, rather than pseudonyms. Don't worry about being an ugly duckling,
Ed. Just speak right up, like the lively, spirited, happy fellow you are.
