That was an excellent analysis of the problems with teaching consolidated
values with reference to chastity.
I would add that Nick values non-violence and sees it as a virtue that shold
be taught. I realize that non-violence and turning the other cheek is a
fondly held belief by many, but I for one think that disobediance to tyrants
up to and including armed rebellion is a far greater virtue.
I tried to off list email you with a response to your earlier comment on a
reply to Nick I had made. It came back undelivered. I will post it here in
hopes that you will end up with it;

On the off line, I really did not read that one. All I get is responses
directly to my emails to the list. I am not sure why that is the case, but
if Nick's orginal email had hit my box I would have resonded. As My
response was, I do think he has gone the extra mile and the refusal to
engage on the part of Doug Wilson seems clearly to be the problem. As I
said, Dr Greir is to be commended for trying to find a way to solve
problems.
But just as I noted that, I have seen a lack of similar attitudes among
others.
As for V2020, I respond to some of the postings directly from the list site
and tend to try to read most of the postings, as I have for a number of
years. I may have to contact the sys admin to find out why all the emails
on the list do not come through and why only those which are direct
responses to my postings come forward.
