Tisk tisk Mr. Hansen for your narrow and discriminatory attitude to the 
disabled and poor that they are not equal members of the community and 
should be banished from the downtown area.

That is in effect what you are saying when we say that we should only allow 
profit making, taxpaying businesses downtown. You would be shutting down and 
kicking out services provided for the disabled. Many non-profit entities can 
only afford offices downtown and your rules would shut them down and/or make 
them inaccessible to those that needed them. Many income based and low 
income based apartments are conveniently located downtown for them. Also, 
Goodwill is also located downtown for a reason. Perhaps you think that 
people in wheelchairs should ride 5 miles out of town in the snow and mud to 
get services and decent clothing and needed supplies? You obviously haven't 
lived on a Social Security check before.

I see no reason why the poorer and disabled members of our community should 
be excluded because they aren't contributing in a monetary way to the value 
of our capitalistic society. They contribute in ways far more important.
