Pat,

If you didn't intend to get into a discussion with me, why did you respond
to the post in which I posted the article?  

If you are going to respond, then you ought to cite facts  or offer some
sort of explanation for your position.  You didn't even begin to address the
question of why we are building long-term bases.  

I do oppose Bush.  I don't oppose the United States when I think we're doing
the right thing.  I want to be able to support my country, but I can't with
this war, packaged on lies and so lethal to so many.  I am trying to make
sense of the reasons for this war, as it's quite clear that the
Administration chose to go forward for reasons that were false.  

You continue to write as if you know the reasons, but when I ask for them,
you refuse to state them.
