Hi JFORD,

"The interesting thing is that almost every school building built
since 1911 has had an auditorium. However, if the new school
building is built it will not have an auditorium."

As noted in several conversations and meetings, (which you chose NOT to
attend) as well as at the Saturday meeting, the existing Auditorium at the
High School would continue to be used for play/concert productions.

You say they are going to be using the auditorium but yet the architect is
instructed to give us a bid which includes the tear down and rebuild of the
same auditorium that you say is still good and usable, but yet the
architect is instructed on the retro fit of the old high school to bid it
out as a, "COMPLETE REBUILD." Where is the logic here?

You are screaming about the costs of the new high school now - just how much
louder would you scream if we added the cost of an auditorium - not to
mention your rants about the non-use of the one that we do have and will
continue to use?

Well, how long do you think it will be before they start screaming that they
need one? It is already on the architects plans for the new school. Is that
next years levy? Yeah, I was born at night. But not last night.

Phil
