Melynda,

I went to your website www.immigrationforum.org and found it to be a touchy
feeley, huggy huggy, kissy kissy, love thy illegal immigrant site. I now
invite you to take a look at http://www.wsp.wa.gov/crime/wanted.htm so you
can take a look at some of those folks who are coming across our southern
border in the dead of night. Notice that out of 26 pictures it appears that 24
are of hispanic orgin. Can you imagine what the percentage of hispanics are in
our jails and prisons? Did someone say they aren't costing us any money?
At one time we had an excellent program that brought in hispanic migrants to
work our fields and at that time they were paid a decent wage, were provided
decent housing with running water, santary facilities that had to meet program
standards and there was some sort of medical help but don't know how that
worked. They would work a long summer, save their money and go back to Mexico,
Jamaica or Hati for the winter and lived a pretty good life. The big farmers
and corporate farmers bitched about having to pay them so much so the farmers
bitched to their congressmen such as Larry Craig as they gave them huge sums
of money for their reelection so the program was scrapped. Now they are being
taken advantage of and because they are illegal they can't say anything.
If a program was set up to allow them to come in for 9 or 10 months a year to
work, if the border was guarded, fenced and word put out that anyone trying to
sneak in would be shot it would end many of our problems. I would not be in
favor of issuing a "shoot" order unless there was a proper program in place to
allow them in legally. The program would have to be watched or monitored and
the workers guaranteed a living wage, housing & some type of medical care
somehow provided by the program. It pisses me off big time to see these people
taken advantage of by the big cry baby farmers who own our prostitute
legislators.

Please excuse the spelling as I am in Great Falls, MT tonight on my laptop on
WiFi in my room using First Step Internet "away from home service" and don't
have spell check. This types pretty slow too!!
