Hmmm...you sure about this Tom? I clearly remember
the final Seinfeld episode where Jerry, Elaine,
George, and Kramer were arrested and convicted for
violating Good Samaritan Laws for laughing at and
video taping someone being mugged instead of helping
the victim. Come to think of it though, I forget what
state they were in. I don't believe it was New York
because they flying to some NBC office to discuss a
pilot for a sitcom when they were forced to land
unexpectedly due to some trouble with their plane. So
maybe Idaho doesn't have Good Samaritan Laws, but
other states might? I'm going to be hopping mad if a
great show like Seinfeld was ended on the premise of
some non-existent law just to get a couple of guffaws
from the audience. If this is the case, the producers
of the show should resurrect it and just explain away
the Good Samaritan Law episode as just a dream.
