Kinda reminds you of Jim and Tammy Faye, huh?
"Oh, Jesus. Forgive me for I have sinned . . . " (as the tears rolled down
his face)
Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Subject: [Vision2020] Response to Pat Kraut on Plagiarism
Dear Pat,
I may have already reminded you of these two points, but it seems as if I
need to repeat them. The students who plagiarized in my classes always
apologized, and they always said that they did not intend to do it.
The Daily News headline was really off the wall. I don't know of any case
of plagiarism that was done with malevolent intent.
But all of this is besides the main point. The students apologized but they
still failed.
The second point is that students never get a second chance to do the paper
over again. Professor Engerman has stated that Wilson and Wilkins "misused"
his work. How can he be sure that Wilson will not misuse it again,
especially since he intends to stand by a thesis that he cannot defend?
