[Vision2020] Plagarism

All,

Cult master Wilson claims he did not plagiarize portions of his now infamous
tract Southern Slavery, As It Was (1996), but was sloppy with the footnoting and
attribution in the original edition.  He did not pull the book from publication
because of the recent controversy but because of a "gracious Christian scholar"
alerted him to the problem in a letter.  He gives the scholar's name in his
web-blot as "Dr. _________________.

What is the name of the scholar?  Why can't the letter be published as proof of
Wilson's claims?

Surely, any "gracious Christian" would not object to the publication of such a
letter in order to rescue and to deblaspheme the agent of God!

If the neither the name nor the letter are forthcoming, and if they are,
subsequently not verified as authentic, then what is the most probable
explanation? [Culties take note.]

Interesting:  Wilson himself during the recent controversy about the tract said
in newspaper articles (and perhaps on Vision 2020) that he had reread the tract
at issue and would not change any of it.

Awaiting further developments including the name of the "gracious Christian
scholar", a copy of the letter, an explanation of why Wilson did not discover
any problems upon his recent rereading, and an enlightening Official Explanation
from Captain Kirker.

I am also wondering if the Daily News reporter, if they cover this latest unholy
dido by Wilson, will ask for and print the anonymous scholar's name and the
letter itself.
