I agree with you very much. Mr. Lohrmann. I have agreed many times with
what Linda Pall has to say. But, if somebody takes offense to an expressed
opinion on what is perceived to be a political talk show, the problem is NOT
with the radio station. Maybe the listener should undergo an "inventory".

Subject: [Vision2020] "Disagreeable" Pall Statement Leads to Host's
Suspension
Visionaries,
I occasionally listen to KQQQ in the mornings. I was doing so today
when one of the co-hosts of the morning local news show brought up "the
comment"-- his mention on yesterday's show that he had never agreed with
Linda Pall.
He said the comment was merely a statement of fact--that he disagreed
with her politically. He wasn't insulting or defamatory, just "I don't
agree."
This news show has, at least in the past, been a mix of local news and
comments. The hosts often mention personal anecdotes about their lives,
opinions, golf games, and etc. They often talk about politics as well.
Nothing too detailed, just comments now and then. I've agreed some of
the time and disagreed some of the time, but the fact that these fellows
have opinions never bothered me. There's an old cliche reminding us that we
all have them.
Well, to make a long story short, the fellow who mentioned that he
disagreed with Pall has been suspended from his job at the station for three
days.
Huh? Come again?
A station that devotes most of its broadcast day to political talk
suspends this guy for simply stating an opinion?
I hope that's not what the Pall supporters who called and emailed the
station had in mind when they complained.
Unlike the news co-host, I have often agreed with Ms. Pall and have even
cast a vote her way on occasion. But I certainly DON'T agree that
disagreeing with her should mean suspension.
I doubt if Ms. Pall does either
