Hi all --
I've been lurking on this list for a little while. I'm a former =
Moscowan and interested in the goings-on there since I have family =
there, and a friend is now the parish priest at St. Augie's
To answer Nate Wilson's question: the Statesman is AWFUL. You have no =
idea how lucky you are to be able to read a paper like the Tribune. =
Let's not even talk about its all-BSU-all-the-time sports page.
A question for Douglas: how stubborn IS the pope's mule? Haven't heard =
that one before. ;-) I enjoyed your dialogue with -- was it Patrick =
Madrid? -- in Envoy magazine awhile back.
