A lot of emails were sent to vission2020 talking about how good slavery was and one even wishing to own a slave or two ….. (I can forward the email to you if you don’t believe me. This could have been a joke). Some visionaries conveyed an impression that slavery was not so bad – “Slaves were treated humanly etc etc .. ..slavery in the South was not as bad as it is made out to be etc.”</P>

<DIV></DIV>It would be interesting to know the stand of the "slavery supporters" on the war in Iraq. We are now being told that, the major objective for going to war was to "free" the people of Iraq. How can you support "freeing" people in Iraq, but wish to have kept slaves in the USA? Ant this a contradiction?
