[Vision2020] re: liquor liability

And I was thinking the same thing.  Moreover,  I wouldn't feel comfortable 
taking my kids to an event at a nightclub, even if no alcohol was being 
served in the room of the event itself:  the smoke, the presence of the bar 
patrons on the way in and out, and the general ambience wouldn't feel 
appropriate to me.  The 1912 Building is a safe place to take kids.  It's a 
beautiful space with good lighting and lots of windows.   For a community 
event like the Civic Association's potluck, it was perfect.

And for those who couldn't join us, the food was great, the music was even 
better, there were lots of dancing toddlers (and a few intrepid parents), 
and we had a great chance to meet and chat with neighbors from all over the 
city--and even outside it!
