In posting to V2020, I have noticed a slight to sometimes lengthy =
delay before it registers on the listserve. It appears that submissions =
to V2020 are not always relayed in the order received. More that once, I =
have read the response to a comment several submissions BEFORE I receive =
the original comment. Personal (direct) email is essentially =
instantaneous though. The result is that 'Billy' posts to V2020 and =
sends the message Cc: to 'MaryAnn', to which she immediately responds =
c/o V2020. By some quirk 'MaryAnn's' post appears first, then minutes =
later 'Billy's'. I suspect this is what inspired Mr. Steed's circular =
conversation comment, as it has sure confused the heck out of me a few =
times.
