And yes, finally I agree. What with so many contemporary issues being
constantly debated and re-debated, that it is comforting that the Bible (be
sure to capitalize that, Ted) stands as a reference that needs no
interpretation, no matter how destructive, irrational, and dumb some of the
things stated in the Bible may be. At least those who have faith (should I
capitalize Faith?...I can't remember) can rely on a standard that can not be
refuted. We can comfort ourselves that we have a basis for giving up all of
our judgement and Will to the absolute authority of a single written source.
It really makes things so much easier, doesn't it?
Uh... what edition of the Bible are we using, by the way?
