[Vision2020] Hate Crime on the Palouse

<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>Hmmm. We must have some really short =
memories.
Seems like some of us jumped to the conclusion that the
Muslim US officer who killed some of his comrades was
motivated by religious fervor and that two ladies intended
to poison a war supporter with hot chocolate. In all three
cases an investigator would have been stupid NOT to have
inquired into the obvious while keeping an open mind to a
multitude of other possibilities. It's just strange to me that
some of us want to so quickly condemn each other for
doing what we ourselves were doing last week.

I think there is a lot of wishful hoping that this was a

hate crime.

Then people could feel so righteous and declare how
tolerant

they are and compassionate. We could then tell everyone
how

much we love each other and celebrate their diversity. We

could have a vision2020 board group hug and go away
feeling

so good about ourselves and righteous.

But alas, too bad, not today.

Cheers!
