Beasley Coliseum is synonymous with culture on the Palouse, and its =
birthday deserves to be celebrated. On April 5 celebrate the 30th =
anniversary of Beasley Coliseum, highlighted by the Washington-Idaho =
Symphony=92s performance, =93From Russia with Love.=94 WSU President =
Rawlins will address the audience during a birthday-party intermission, =
and there will be a slide show of Beasley=92s history. The event is =
being co-sponsored by the President and the WSU Foundation. =20

The Washington-Idaho Symphony, which celebrated its 30th last year, is =
being featured by invitation of WSU=92s Visual, Performing, and Literary =
Arts Committee (VPLAC). The symphony will perform music by Tchaikovsky =
and Prokofiev, including the Sleeping Beauty Ballet Suite and the Romeo =
and Juliet Overture-Fantasy, among other pieces. Tickets will be on =
sale at the door (and at the Chamber of Commerce). Prices are =
$12/adult, $6/student with ID, and one child is free with each paying =
adult. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5; it is =
performed again on Sunday, April 6, at 3:00 p.m. in the Clarkston High =
School Auditorium.
