<p class="MsoNormal">I look forward to seeing those of you who are planning to attend the summer meeting in Boston (an amazing city!). We have some interesting topics to discuss at our meeting. Carlyn McCaffrey, who contributed substantially to the attached
submission of items to be included on the 2026-2027 Priority Guidance Plan, in particular with respect to the request for guidance under Section 2702 (starting at page 45), will be leading a discussion on regulations that arguably violate the holdings of
<i>Loper Bright</i>. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I urge you all to take some time ahead of the meeting to identify one or two other regulations you would be willing to highlight that you believe don’t represent the best interpretation of the statue. I hope we can have a lively discussion
on this matter and begin assembling a more complete list of items that may be shared with Treasury.<o:p></o:p></p>
