Hello Estate & Gift Tax Committee:

It's the 4th and final week of The ACTEC Foundation Home Run Derby, and I need every single member of the Estate and Gift Tax Committee to step up to the plate to support my fundraising<https://apps.actecfoundation.org/open-virtual-fundraisers?PFR=13634> campaign for The ACTEC Foundation to help me Win. That. PENNANT! The starters have given it their all to give me a narrow lead. Now it's time to go to the bench for the help of our power hitters (that means YOU!). While our lead may be in jeopardy, and know that I can count on you to bring us home with a win!

As a past Chair of the Estate and Gift Tax Committee, a win for me means the Estate and Gift Tax Committee will have bragging rights for the next year! But it's not just a win for me and for the Committee, it's really a win for The ACTEC Foundation. With the funds we're raising, the Foundation can support critical T&E programs like the ACTEC Trust and Estate Talk podcasts. These podcasts provide insightful learning on tax policy topics like the four-part series with Stevie Casteel and Bath Kaufman on "Estate & Gift Tax and Charitable Contributions Under the OBBBA." It was fantastic!

So help your former Committee Chair Mickey "The Mick" Davis* hit one out of the park and give the Foundation a home run! Donate<https://apps.actecfoundation.org/open-virtual-fundraisers?PFR=13634> today to push me and the Estate and Gift Tax Committee to the top of the scoreboard in Week Four of the Home Run Derby! I really need your support in this critical last week! If you've already contributed, even if it wasn't to me, thanks for your support. If you haven't come to the plate yet, now's your chance! We're counting on you!

Thanks,

Mickey "The Mick" Davis*

*Those of you who remember my namesake Hall of Famer Mickey "The Mick" Mantle know what an awesome player he was. With 536 career home runs and a lifetime batting average of .298, he proudly wore number 7, as did my favorite Astro, Craig Biggio. Craig was a career-long Houston Astro, and the only player in MLB history with over 3,000 hits, over 600 doubles, over 400 stolen bases, and over 250 home runs. My son Matt and I were lucky enough to see him get his 3000th hit! My Foundation Avatar adopts lucky number 7 as an homage to Mickey and Craig.
