[EstGift] Grantor trust follow up

At the summer meeting, Phil Lindquist was one of our panelists who discussed a recent debate in Tax Notes about how much of a joint grantor trust is treated as a grantor trust with respect to the surviving spouse.
Phil put his research and views on the subject into a Letter to the Editors, which was released today.
