ACTEC Fellows,

Attached is a link to a quick survey regarding the transfer of situs/principal place of administration of trusts.  Your participation would be greatly appreciated.  The survey is being conducted on behalf of the Situs and Choice of Law Subcommittee of the Fiduciary Litigation Committee in order to assist in its presentation of this topic at the Palm Springs meeting.  The presentation will focus on the practical reasons for situs transfers, the difficulties that are encountered when implementing a change of situs and applicable law, as well as considerations that all trust and estate attorneys should be aware of when discussing this increasingly important topic with their clients.  The results of the survey will be shared at the upcoming Palm Springs meeting.  Please provide a response by January 18th so that the results may be compiled and included in the meeting materials.
