[EstGift] Suggestion regarding rejected transcripts

Dear Friends,



In our new world of requesting transcripts in lieu of receiving closing letters, many of us from time to time have had transcript requests rejected.  If you receive a rejection notice when asking for a transcript I suggest that you contact Ms. Lisa Piehl at the IRS by efax at 866.820.4448.  Send along a copy of the original 4506-T, any information submitted with that form, and the rejection letter.  That will allow the IRS to investigate the snafu both in your situation and more generally.  Thanks and let us all know how it goes.
