[EstGift] We Remember Dennis This Morning

Dear Friends,

We stop this morning to remember our dear friend, Dennis Belcher. Dennis was a tireless worker on behalf of the College and the estate planning profession. You have seen Deb's sad and shocking message.

We cannot define a dear friend but we can describe one:

Encourager
Inspirer
Someone who cares as much about what you are doing as what he is doing
The constant lender of the helping hand
The faithful leader
The friendly face
The first to say thank you.

Or instead, we can just say ... Dennis.

We will never replace this joyful, gracious man in our hearts. With his passing, the task of carrying on all that he did for the profession remains with us.

There is much more to be said about Dennis, in Seattle, before and after. In the meantime, I know that you join me in sending your love and affection to Vickie and the Belcher family on this unexpected and exceptionally sad occasion.
