Are these both regulatory, revenue ruling and legislative matters? one would be to clarify there will be no clawback. also, and I know its unfair to expect it soon as its only been 35 years, but regs on unification generally including calculations per 2001(b) might be fun to see. Jonathan

Subject: [EstGift] Suggestions for Priority Guidance Plan

Dear Committee Member:

Treasury has opened up to the public, and specifically to ACTEC, the opportunity to submit suggestions of matters that we believe are of importance and should be added to the priority guidance plan. This is an opportunity for us to have input on the areas in which Treasury might focus attention and provided needed guidance. These suggestions could be in the form of one or two sentences, as the priority guidance plan frequently is.

Suggestions need to be received before the end of the month, so that they may be submitted to the Washington Affairs Committee and thereafter considered for inclusion in the ACTEC submission.

This is an opportunity for us to let Treasury know where we have uncertainty and a need for clarification and predictability in the administration of the tax law.

I look forward to receiving your suggestion.

Best, Diana
