The Treasury has recently issued Proposed GST Regulations concerning
electing out of or into the deemed allocations rules for indirect skips.
(IRS Proposed Regulations 153841-02 issued July 13, 2004). Dennis
Belcher has requested that I chair a subcommittee to comment on these
proposed regulations. Comments are due by October 12, 2004. If you
like to be involved in preparing comments, please e-mail me or call me
at 561-653-5959. If you don't have time to be actively involved, but
have comments, please e-mail them to me. Your thoughts would be greatly
